Placement Opportunities in IGNOU

IGNOU Regional Centre, Hyderabad has emerged as one of the largest IGNOU Regional Centre with cumulative enrolment crossing 2.0 lakh figure. At the time of its inception in the year 1987 IGNOU Regional Centre Hyderabad catered to educational needs of the entire state of Andhra Pradesh. As the enrolment for various programmes increased the Jurisdiction of the Regional Centre has been divided into two Regions in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Thus from July 2008 onwards the Jurisdiction of Hyderabad Regional Centre caters to the following districts of Andhra Pradesh : Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Nalgonda, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Mahaboob Nagar, Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur (All districts of Telangana except Khammam and all districts of Rayalseema except Chittoor).

Students from the Coastal Districts, Chittoor and Khammam have to apply to Regional Centre, Vijayawada for admissions and other information about their registration.

 The Regional Centre is headed by the Regional Director who is supported by a team of Academic, Administrative and supporting staff.

 It coordinates various learner support activities by providing academic and administrative link between the learners, the study centres and the University Headquarters.
